Gas odorization - New injection nozzle makes it easier to carry out maintenance
New injection nozzle with a removable mechanism makes it easier to carry out evaporator maintenance in accordance with the current standards of the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW).

At the invitation of MEP Rainer Wieland (EPP), LEWA’s apprentices visited the European Parliament in Strasbourg.Rainer Wieland was the top candidate on the EPP fraction’s list in Baden-Wurttemberg in the 2014 European elections. He has been a member of the European Parliament since 1997 and is now one of 14 vice presidents of the Parliament in the current legislative period. LEWA provides chromatography demonstration and rental plants
For many of processes in the pharmaceutical- and biotechnology, a comprehensive pilot study and process development is necessary. LEWA supports such pilot studies with chromatography plants from the EcoPrime series.
At different locations, EcoPrime LPLC Batch plants and continuously working systems for test and demonstration purposes are available. Beyond that, these plants can also be rented to evaluate the process directly at the customer’s place.

Open Training day – Insight to different professions trained at LEWA
As in previous years, LEWA is holding the "Open training day" again this year. On Saturday, July 8th, 2017, students and their parents are invited to take a closer look at the apprentice workshop at LEWA from 10 am to 3 pm.
Last year, more than 300 interested people attended the "Open training day". Particularly popular were the different stations that invited to participate, like "the hot wire" or the milling of a gyro.
